National Revival of the Chinese Dream – Liu Ruoxi Sings Chinese Classic Hits

Presented by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, China Conservatory of Music and Association of Chinese Cultural Promotion of Canada

Award-winning soprano Liu Rouxi from the Jiangxi province of China will bring the spirit of Chinese classic folk music to life in this special concert presented as part of the 2013 Chinese Culture Year in Canada and the fifth Vancouver Chinese Cultural Festival. Following the release of her successful debut solo album, Liu Rouxi will perform more than 16 well-known Chinese folk songs.
