Haydn’s Symphony No. 73 is another of his many great works of refined beauty. And here’s the twist: the suite from Russian composer Igor Stravinsky’s great ballet music Pulcinella, written in the twentieth century and based on the music of eighteenth century Italian Baroque composer Giovanni Pergolesi.
