Presented by Early Music Vancouver as part of their Chan Centre Concert series

Monica Huggett is arguably the most important baroque violinist in the world today and was recently appointed Artist in Residence at the Juilliard’s new Historical Performance Institute.

This year she celebrates her 20th season at Portland Baroque Orchestra with a Northwest tour of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

For this performance Monica combines Four Seasons with Vivaldi’s Sinfonia “alla Rustica” (RV 156), Locatelli’s Lamento in F and the haunting curtain tune from Matthew Locke’s music for The Tempest.
