Bach & Beyond: Bach, Haydn, Mozart

Johannes Sebastian Bach’s set of four orchestral suites were written around 1725, and all are festive, fun, brilliant examples of the genre; and none are more lovely than Orchestral Suite No. 4.

Bach wrote an enormous number of extraordinary cantatas, and was a master of the genre. Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate is jubilant and glorious – and both it and the Bach cantata are perfect vehicles for the sweet, lyrical tone of soprano Tracy Dahl.
