Flute, Harp & Viola Trio

VSO Principals Christie Reside, Hung-Wei Huang, and Alyssa Katahara present a program of music celebrating three incredible composers: Jocelyn Morlock, Sofia Gubaidulina, and Claude Debussy. Debussy’s colourful and classic work for flute, viola, and harp is preceded by Gubaidulina’s haunting and evocative “Garden of Joys and Sorrows.” Beginning the program is a touching work for flute and harp by the late Jocelyn Morlock that showcases her incredible compositional talent and beautiful lyricism.
