Presented by Lugaro & Newport Realty

There are legends in classical music and then there is Pepe Romero.

Maestro Romero has been recording since 1959 and has performed (by himself and with his family – the Legendary Romeros) at the White House, the Vatican for Pope John Paul II, for HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain, and Queen Beatrice of Holland. He received the “Premio Andalucía de la Música,” the highest recognition given by his native land. In addition, His Majesty, King Juan Carlos I of Spain, has knighted Pepe and his brothers into the Order of “Isabel la Católica.”

Mr. Romero is delighted in his long awaited return to Vancouver for this special concert and is joined by his esteemed colleague, Alexander Dunn, who heads the guitar programs at the University of Victoria School of Music and the Victoria Conservatory of Music plus Randy Pile (California) & Robert Ward (Boston).
