The Nutcracker Suite

Join the Vancouver Pops Symphony, with guest conductor Dr. Jonathan Girard, for the must see concert event of the season. The Vancouver Pops will be teaming up with the 45th Ave Jazz Band to bring you Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. 

Maestro Girard will lead the Vancouver Pops Symphony though the iconic ballet suite, but with a twist. After each movement, the 45th Ave Jazz Band under Director Jaelem Bhate, will bring you the jazz arrangements of the same work by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn.
