The 2009-2010 season marks the 80th anniversary of the VYSO! To celebrate with a bash, a finale concert will be held featuring all four orchestras. CBC Radio’s luminous Bill Richardson will host the event and Maestro Bramwell Tovey of the VSO will be our special guest conductor. All in all, the afternoon promises to be a vibrant commemoration of Vancouver’s classical musical life as nurtured by the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra Society for 80 years.

Mark Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 2:30 pm on your calendars and join the entire VYSO, Bramwell Tovey and Bill Richardson to wish the VYSO a Happy Birthday! Following the concert, please join the VYSO for a complimentary reception complete with birthday cake in the lobby.
