UBC's Arts and Culture District

The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts is proud to be a part of the UBC Arts and Culture District, located at the north end of UBC’s Point Grey campus.

Also home to the Museum of Anthropology, the Morris & Helen Belkin Art Gallery, the Audain Art Centre, the Old Auditorium, the Frederic Wood Theatre and the UBC School of Music, UBC’s Arts and Culture District helps foster student engagement in the arts through top tier cultural offerings including concerts by internationally renowned and locally celebrated musicians, one-of-a-kind fine and contemporary art exhibitions and award-winning theatrical performances and plays.

New to UBC? Visit the brand new UBC Welcome Centre located in the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre. It’s the friendly front door for all visitors to UBC’s Point Grey campus!

UBC School of Music & UBC Department of Theatre and Film

The esteemed faculty and students of the UBC School of Music and the UBC Department of Theatre and Film perform at the Chan Centre throughout the academic year. This season’s offerings include concerts that range from instrumental classics to impassioned choral works to full scale opera, as well as theatrical masterpieces!
