Presented in collaboration with Musqueam 

Join us for an afternoon of accessible, family-friendly outdoor programming celebrating Indigenous creativity, brilliance, culture, and community!

Enjoy Indigenous vendors, food trucks, community presentations, film screenings, cultural workshops and performances, hosted by Two-Spirit Cree musician and drag performer Quanah Style, beginning at 1pm.

Stage performers include: Julian Taylor Trio, PIQSIQ, Indigenous Enterprise, Miss Christie Lee & Lady Sinncere, Carsen Gray, Russell Wallace: Tillicum Shantie Project, DJ O Show, Sekawnee & Sekoya Baker, Tsatsu Stalqayu / Coastal Wolf Pack

Food vendors include: Golden BannockNa Mi Vietnamese, Up the River Bakery

Artisan vendors include: Pattern Nation, Decolonial Clothing Co, Rbrth, Sisters Sage, Native by Nature, Iron Dog Books

The UBC Museum of Anthropology will host family workshops from 11:00AM-1:30PM that will include Musqueam place names exercises, Musqueam timeline exercises, as well as hands-on Musqueam belongings drawn from the teaching kit: xʷməθkʷəy̓əm: qʷi:l̕qʷəl̕ ʔə kʷθə snəw̓eyəɬ ct Musqueam: giving information about our teachings. The Belkin Art Gallery’s Outdoor Screen will showcase Stories from Musqueam, a short film and video series featuring the work and words of Musqueam artists, cultural knowledge keepers and community members. For more info, click here.
