In this hour-long concert, the Somerset String Quartet outline 300 years of chamber music. This performance by the UBC School of Music’s resident student string quartet, joined by guest pianist Yidie Hua, will showcase the works that left their imprint on history.
UBC students / children accompanied by an adult gain free admission. A ticket must still be “purchased”.

Join us for an Instrument Petting Zoo in the lobby of the Chan Centre. The Somerset String Quartet will be available to showcase their instruments and guide you through hands-on demonstrations using other string and small percussion instruments.
