Gifted Artists Concerto Gala

Presented by Mastery School of Music

Eight gifted young pianists will perform a movement of a concerto with the Vancouver Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Bujar Ilapaj.   The afternoon will include the following concerti:

1. Beethoven Piano Concerto #1 in C Major-First Movement
2. Kabalevsky Piano Concerto #3 in D Major-Third Movement
3. Beethoven Piano Concerto #2 in B flat Major-First Movement
4. Beethoven Piano Concerto #3 in C minor-First Movement
5. Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor-First Movement
6. Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor-Third Movement
7. Rachmaninov Piano Concerto in C Minor #2-First Movement
8. Gershwin Piano Concerto in F Major-First Movement

The eight pianists are: Renee Chan, Levon Liang, Derek Lowe, Jonathan Weng, Charles Yeung, Cheng Jiang, Kody Liang, and Owen Wang
