Handel Coronation Anthems

Presented by Early Music Vancouver

Handel’s monumental Coronation Anthems, composed in 1727 for the coronation of King George II and Queen Caroline of England, bring an exciting, regal note to end the Pacific Baroque Orchestra’s season.

Continuing in the same royal vein, the PBO will complete this program with Marc Antoine Charpentier’s triumphant Te Deum, a masterwork of the French Baroque style for choir, orchestra and soloists.
