Exploiting the warm, resonant acoustics of the Chan Centre, they will perform “The Tears of Saint Peter” by Renaissance composer Orlande de Lassus, a cycle of twenty exquisite sacred madrigals that powerfully express grief, regret and forgiveness in music of moving simplicity and consoling contemplation.
