In advance of their Chan Centre Dot Com Series performance premiere, vocalist Magos Herrera and Brooklyn Rider’s Colin Jacobsen joined us live to discuss their collaboration, Dreamers, in a talk that was moderated by Vancouver-based radio journalist Paolo Pietropaolo.
“The worst place to be is…to fall prey to cynicism. It’s an enemy of art and life in a lot of ways, because then you stop dreaming for a better idea of the world.” – Colin Jacobsen
“[Dreamers] was a way to show the vastness and the greatness of these incredible writers and song writers and poets – that their philosophy and humanism still resonates these days.” – Magos Herrera
Tickets for the performance by Magos Herrera and Brooklyn Rider ($0 – $20) must be obtained separately here.
