Songfire: Sir Thomas Allen, baritone

Presented by the Vancouver International Song Institute as part of the SONGFIRE Festival of Song

A celebrated star of the great opera houses of the world, Allen will present and intimate, immensely moving evening of Art Song fare. On the programme: English repertoire, works by Schubert and Beethoven, and a rare selection of Northumbrian folk arrangements. Joining Sir Thomas is pianist Joseph Middleton, hailed by The Times as “the cream of the new generation.”
