EVENT CANCELLATION – INFORMATION FOR TICKET HOLDERS

On Nov 10, 2023 a series of power outages occurred at UBC Vancouver affecting the entire academic campus.

The Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra event on this date has been cancelled.  We thank all guests for their understanding.

All ticket holders will be refunded the full value of their tickets within the next 30 days. No further action is required by ticket holders.

The VMO is proud to present its Pops and classics concert at the Chan Centre on Nov 10, 2023. This will feature the debut of resident conductor, Stuart Martin, as well as a new world premiere by our composer in residence, Aidan Mulldoon Wang. Joining this concert is 11 years old piano prodigy, Sophie Meng, who will play the dazzling concerto 23 by Mozart. Popular and great works including: Sibelius’s Finlandia, John Williams’s ET, Tchaikovsky’s sleeping Beauty and Francesca di Remini, and more
