Sound and science meet in this exciting full-day camp! In the mornings, campers will dive into hands-on projects that explore the physics of sound and vibration. We’ll design our own percussion instruments, create mini sound studios, build dance bots, and more! In the afternoons, campers will work in pairs to learn the fundamentals of computer programming through code-based music composition and audio projects. On the final day, campers can invite their friends and family to a showcase of their projects! Are you ready to turn up the volume on STEM?

Note to parents/guardians:

No prior experience in music or coding required. Campers must have basic computer skills (keyboard and mouse).

What can you expect from this camp?

A typical camp week will introduce campers to concepts in music, STEM, and coding. In the mornings, campers explore the science behind music and sound through hands-on build challenges. In the afternoons, campers work in pairs on audio-focused coding projects in Scratch and Music Lab. This is a great camp for children who are excited about STEM and enjoy building, experimenting and working with their hands.

Parents/guardians, siblings, and friends are invited to the Friday afternoon showcase, where campers share their projects and demonstrate what they’ve learned!

Parents/guardians can expect campers to come home with a cool project each day of camp! Technology projects such as digital music compositions, Scratch projects, and Music Lab projects will be emailed to parents/guardians within 3 days after the last day of camp.
