The orchestra (main) level of the Chan Shun Concert Hall has a variety of accessible seats. Please note that only the left side of the dress and upper levels of the concert hall (including box seating) are accessible by elevator.
Seat sizes in the concert hall range from approximately 16.5 inches to 19.25 inches. View a map of seat sizes here. If you require a chair that is larger than this, please note that box seating on the dress and upper levels contain movable chairs with arms which can be replaced with chairs that have no arms.
The access ramp to the Old Auditorium is located off Memorial Drive. For further information about arriving to the Old Auditorium, visit Directions & Parking.
Accessible and mobility-friendly seating is available. The accessible washroom is located on the lower level, accessible via an elevator in the lobby.

The Chan Centre is pleased to accept Access 2 Entertainment passes for events taking place at the Chan Centre and UBC School of Music venues. If you have a pass, please contact our box office at 604.822.2697 or email chan.tickets@ubc.ca to book your tickets. Tickets will be held for pick-up at the box office on the day of the performance and a valid Access2 pass must be presented at that time. Please be aware that inventory is limited and tickets are booked on a first come, first served basis.
Trained guide dogs or service animals assisting guests with disabilities are permitted inside the Chan Centre. All other animals are prohibited.
