The Virtual Experience

While we can’t all gather together in-person at the Chan Centre during these uncertain times, we can still enjoy the transformative power of the performing arts through virtual experiences. The Chan Centre’s Fall 2020 Dot Com Series will be delivered 100% online for viewing in the comfort of your own home.

That’s right – it’s all of the performing arts you crave, with nary a lineup in sight! Grab a snack and a beverage (we’ll even let you keep it in a real glass this time), gather all the arts lovers in your bubble, and tune in wherever you happen to be. You don’t even need to get out of your pajamas.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our six digital performances will be released throughout the fall, from September 25 until the end of November.

Here is how you can view, it’s easy:

1. Purchase a ticket for the show you’re interested in (or consider subscribing to all six.)

2. The Chan Centre’s online viewing platform requires a login, which is the same as the one used to purchase or register for the event through UBC Tickets. You will receive a reminder email from us with information about each performance in advance of its release. You can watch on any internet-connected device – that could be your phone, laptop, desktop computer, TV, tablet, etc. View technical requirements here.

3. Watch at your own leisure! These concerts are recorded in advance and will range from 45-60 minutes in length. You can tune into the watch party at the time of the event launch, or view each performance on-demand following its launch. Access to all fall 2020 performances will end on December 21, 2020.
