Enjoy the best emerging orchestral artists Canada has to offer as the 2015 chapter of National Youth Orchestra Canada tours the country with renowned maestro Michael Francis. Michael Francis has wowed audiences throughout the world with his expressive style and dynamic performances; he brings this energy and experience to NYO Canada’s musicians, igniting enthusiasm and passion in every note.

Comprised of 90+ students aged 16-28, NYO Canada brings these musicians together for a 5-week training institute, culminating in the 2015 TD National Tour. NYO Canada’s Vancouver concert includes Strauss’ Don Quixote, Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances, and a new work from Vancouver composer Alfredo Santa Ana, OCASO.
