“All that Rhythm” with Hayato Sumino “Cateen” in VMO’s Season Finale

“Cateen” Hayato Sumino is now regarded as one of the most in demand young pianist of his generation after his success at the last International Chopin Piano Competition. With over 1.29 million followers on Youtube, he is now performing with the world’s leading orchestras, including: Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Symphoniker Hamburg, Boston Pops Esplande Orchestra, and Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra with whom he recorded the Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1 with Marin Alsop. The VMO is proud to present the Canadian Orchestral debut of “Cateen” through Gershwin’s Concerto in F, which “Cateen” recently performed with the Boston Pops Orchestra at Symphony Hall Boston under Keith Lockhart.
