An experience of deep listening, sound, and stillness.
Sabr is a high-fidelity deep listening experience created by Asad Khan, exploring the intersection of sound, light, space, and connection. Environments where music becomes medicine and technology becomes a tool for transcendence. More than a performance, Sabr is an atmosphere. A shared moment of stillness that turns any space into a vessel for reflection.
Of the three experiences in the Weekend, this is the one for those who want to go all the way down. Listening as a form of meditation. The name asks something of you: sabr is patience, the willingness to stay.
The Mastané – Sabr performance is a meditative live set rooted in Indian classical and Punjabi folk music. Asad and Raaginder explore the contemplative and improvisational sides of their artistry through live vocals, alaaps, and violin layered over evolving ambient textures.
Each Sabr is site-specific. The set and setting are integral.
