YAMATO Drummers of Japan

With over 4,500 shows across 54 countries Japanese taiko group Yamato has been dazzling audiences since its formation in 1993. For this concert, they celebrate “Hito no chikara,” the power of human strength. With each performance featuring over 40 drums, including a 500kg drum named “Odaiko,” this will be an awe-inspiring experience.

Blending the traditional art of the taiko with rhythms from around the world, Yamato creates an innovative sound and style. With a flair for drama, their performances “have the power to put an audience on its feet, laughing, clapping and taking part.” (London Times)
