In May 1997, the Chan Centre opened its doors for the very first time – which means we are turning 20! Our celebrations will take place over the course of the 2017/18 season, beginning with the UBC School of Music concert A Song of Joys: Celebrating the Chan Centre at 20, on April 8, 2017.
The most important thing about the Chan Centre are the people who experience it – our audience, students, the UBC community, and music lovers from across the Lower Mainland and beyond. We hope to include your memories in a variety of ways throughout our celebratory season.
