Katie Bos is an experienced camp leader, musician, and filmmaker returning for her second Summer at Chan Camps. She has worked extensively with children in inclusive and creative settings, bringing a thoughtful and imaginative approach to every camp she leads. Katie has led music and singing workshops, a stop-motion animation camp, and has experience supporting children at risk and those with disabilities. She has a bachelor’s degree in cognitive sciences from McGill University.
Kiara Hosie, our camp coordinator and part-time camp leader, brings extensive experience in STEM and arts education. With a background in music, psychology, and coding, Kiara has developed and delivered STEM curricula for youth across BC. Her past roles include Program Coordinator at HighTechU and Curriculum Coordinator at Engineering for Kids Vancouver Island. Kiara holds a bachelor’s of music in musicology from the University of Victoria and a master’s of music in performance from the University of British Columbia.
Tianna Pangaliman has extensive knowledge in music, performing arts, and video game culture. Tianna has worked with children and youth in childcare and leadership settings, bringing her enthusiasm to promote fun, curiosity, and creativity. She is currently working toward a psychology degree with a minor in early childhood education at the University of British Columbia.
