Margaret Atwood in Conversation with Cherie Dimaline

Presented by the Vancouver Writers Fest in partnership with Tourism Vancouver and the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts

Acclaimed author Margaret Atwood joins the Vancouver Writers Fest this fall to discuss her forthcoming title, The Testaments.

In this brilliant sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale, she answers the questions that have tantalized readers for decades. When the van door slammed on Offred’s future at the end of The Handmaid’s Tale, readers had no way of telling what lay ahead. With The Testaments, the wait is over. Margaret Atwood’s sequel picks up the story fifteen years after Offred stepped into the unknown, with the explosive testaments of three female narrators from Gilead.

The Testaments will be available for purchase at the event. However, due to the nature of this multi-city book tour, Margaret Atwood will not be available to sign books following the event. 

The Writers Fest will send an email call-out for questions to ticket buyers later in the summer, so please keep an eye out as there will not be an audience Q&A session at the event.
