Entitled “Flamenco and the Diasporic Soul”, this pre-show talk will offer a journey through the nature of flamenco in search of our emotional “home”.

Dr. Arianna Dagnino is a Lecturer with UBC’s Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies. She is the author of Transcultural Writers and Novels in the Age of Global Mobility (Purdue UP) and she is currently conducting research on Argentine tango and transcultural practices.
