The Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra is delighted to be back on the beautiful Chan Shun concert stage at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC, to share an afternoon of joyful music and the extraordinary talents of their four orchestras, 250 musicians and 6 virtuosic young soloists!
This very special “Together Again” concert, after 2 years of virtual music making, will showcase a varied collection of exciting and masterful orchestral classics as well as familiar and beloved instrumental concerti. Solo repertoire will feature the best of Lalo (violin), Rossini (clarinet), de Sarasate (violin), Wieniawski (violin) and Cimarosa (flute) alongside orchestral selections from Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet, Delibe’s Coppelia Ballet Suite, Sibelius’s Andante Festivo and much more!
