Welcome to Virtually VRS, the Vancouver Recital Society’s online concert series.
23-year-old pianist Tristan Teo was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, and was recently named one of Canada’s “hot classical musicians under 30” by CBC Music. He made his orchestral debut with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and has since performed solo and with orchestras in Canada, the United States and Europe. As a performer with a passion for teaching, Tristan has strongly advocated for bringing music education from the studio to the concert hall, impressing audiences with the honesty and sincerity of his performances. Tristan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in the C.V. Starr Doctoral Fellows Program at The Juilliard School.
