The Vancouver Brass Orchestra endeavours to establish itself as the premiere entity in Western Canada’s professional brass playing community, and with a diverse program of repertoire and personnel, this concert will showcase the flexibility of brass instrumentation outside of the standard brass quintet. With recent events clearing the way for chamber music of particularly small ensembles, this program provides a unique opportunity to feature these unusual but intimate combinations in concert.
