A favourite of Vancouver audiences, renowned violinist Karen Gomyo performs the rich, grand, and lyrical Violin Concerto by Johannes Brahms. Schumann’s beautiful ‘Spring’ Symphony and the gossamer music of Mendelssohn’s fairy tale The Fair Melusina round out this brilliant opening to the Classical Traditions series at the Chan Centre.
