Young Artists Concerto Gala

Presented by the Mozart School of Music

The Mozart School of Music is excited to present 8 prodigies (6 pianists, 1 violist, 1 cellist) in the inaugural performance with the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, conducted by Kenneth Hsieh. Each brilliant musician will perform the 1st movement of the following concertos:

Yolanne Lee–W. A. Mozart – Piano Concerto in C major, K. 467

Sarah Tang–R. Schumann – Piano Concerto in A minor Op. 54

Enoch Ng–W. Walton-Viola Concerto

Vanessa Yee–E. Grieg – Piano Concerto in A minor Op. 16

Jessie Peng–A. Rowley-Miniature Piano Concerto

Rachel Tandun–C. Saint-Seans – Piano Concerto in G minor Op. 22

Garwyn Linnell–E. Lalo – Cello Concerto in D Minor

Tony Lu–P. I. Tchaikovsky – Piano Concerto in B flat minor Op. 23

This is a wonderful concert of favorite concertos that students and parents alike will enjoy. It will also be a great way to celebrate the end of Chinese New Year!
