Three great string sextets plus six incredible musicians equals a wondrous afternoon of music and music making. A rare treat for Vancouver music lovers!

Since its Canadian debut performance for the VRS in 2001, the Jerusalem Quartet has returned to the stage many times. The quartet is regarded as one of the foremost ensembles in the world today.

Pinchas Zukerman is equally respected as a violinist, violist, conductor, pedagogue, and chamber musician. Devoted to the next generation of musicians, he has inspired younger artists with his imagination and passion.

“He generated a warm, liquid sound that effortlessly lled the hall” — The New York Times

Amanda Forsyth was principal cellist of the NAC Orchestra, which she left in 2015 to pursue her solo and chamber music career. She is a member of the Zukerman Trio with her husband Pinchas, and pianist Angela Cheng.
