UBC Symphony Orchestra Open Rehearsal

Want the music insider’s view? Our highly acclaimed UBC Symphony Orchestra invites you to get up close and personal at an open rehearsal in the Chan Centre’s magnificent Chan Shun Concert Hall. This Juno-nominated, 90-member orchestra is led by conductor Dr. Jonathan Girard and is considered one of the finest university orchestras in Canada. Come hear how music is made!

The first 30 attendees will get to sit right on stage, with the surplus invited to sit on intimate choral loft seats.

This event is part of Arts Night Out, a FREE night of entertainment in UBC’s Arts and Culture District following the Harvest Feastival.
