Colour & Light draws inspiration from the dynamic world of the visual arts. The vibrant colours and bold imagery found in post-impressionist and modernist paintings are paired with the rich harmonies and texts of choral music.
With the Choral Union, Caroni Young presents a set of pieces inspired by the life and art of Marc Chagall as part of her graduate thesis recital. Music by Tõnu Kõrvits, Johannes Brahms, Arvo Pärt, Rosephanye Powell, and more.
