Wonderful Harmony: East Meets West

Presented by North Star Performing Arts Management and the Department of Theatre and Film at UBC

This concert is to promote cultural exchange of the West and East through unique musical experience. Nine well-established opera singers will use their artistic talents to interpret the world’s most famous Western operas and Chinese operas and songs, i.e. Vissi d’arte and Strange Harmony aria from Tosca; Che gelida manina from La Boheme; Beijing opera aria Drunken Beauty, The Same Song, and others.

This concert is the debut of the performance group’s expected tour of China.
